Police estimate the goods to be worth about R400 million.

Police said the container came from Asia. Colonel Robert Netshiunda, KwaZulu-Natal Police Spokesperson, tells EWN police estimated the value of the goods based on the retail value of the items.

He says investigations are still ongoing to establish the intended destination for the counterfeit items.
