A forensic investigation company has advised University of Fort Hare to alert University of Pretoria that its alumnus Professor Edwin Ijeoma submitted an application for a PhD that he later received using fake qualifications.

A damning forensic investigation report compiled by the Horizons Forensics firm, which Fort Hare commissioned to investigate Ijeoma has offered a glimpse into the scandal.
