According to the information received by Mp3shot it stated that A streamer is made to cry by taunts on Twitch for playing Hogwarts Legacy on launch day. (Read More Here)
Streamers can’t opt out of these ads, so. a trans streamer called Veronica ‘Nikatine’ Ripley first called for a boycott in protest of the ads forced upon her channel. She’s pledged to stop streaming until Twitch ends this campaign, and many other small streamers have since joined her cause. Some have opted to move their streams to other platforms for now, and others are agreeing to stop streaming entirely or turn off their ads. This is a big sacrifice as they’ll be forfeiting their income by doing so. However, one concern is that calling on other trans streamers to do the same is going to do nothing but silence them further and ruin their livelihoods. The boycott will only hurt Twitch provided some big names join in.

Unfortunately, as with the ADayOffTwitch campaign, we’ve already seen that those in the big leagues largely ignore these things, never wanting to be the first to take the plunge. It’s especially unlikely that the top streamers will join in with this considering Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker, a streamer known for his political commentary, parroted the often misunderstood, “no ethical consumption under capitalism” line to say why boycotting the game is stupid. What that phrase actually means is that, if you look hard enough at any production chain, someone, somewhere, is being exploited because that’s intrinsically how capitalism works. It doesn’t mean all exploitation is equally as bad or everyone is just as oppressed as everyone else, so using it to justify playing a game that lends credibility to the most influential and insidious transphobe in the world isn’t the revelation Hasan thinks it is, and I expected better from him.

Matt then went on to say that Shelby can “take a break if you want. I’ll just stop talking and go fight and do the combat.” Listening in, you can then hear Shelby leave the room, clearly distressed about the line of comments in the chat, to which Matt then tells his viewers off. “Y’all done did it now.”The clip was then posted to Reddit, with many users defending Girlfriend Reviews and calling out those who were commenting negative things in the chat and causing the tears to flow during their Hogwarts Legacy twitch stream. “These guys are so wholesome too, it sucks to see them getting harassed like this,” wrote one Reddit user. “They caught a lot of sh*t for defending TLOU2 from one side and now they’re getting it from the other side for this game.”

The customization options are a key element in living out your wizarding world fantasy, and they're a joy. You can choose your character's gender and appearance. Then you'll pick and alter your wand (don't worry, the one you start the game with is a loaner) and broom.

You also get sorted into a Hogwarts house (Slytherin FTW), based on a series of questions you'll answer shortly after arriving at the school, but you can have a do-over if the initial selection isn't to your liking. Streamers are already being hit with abuse online just for playing the game. In a recent stream, content creator couple Girlfriend Reviews hopped on a live broadcast to play through some of Hogwarts Legacy early. However, during the stream, Matt and Shelby were being verbally attacked in the chat to the point where Shelby had to step away from the stream, clearly upset and sounding as though she was on the verge of tears.

“I’m almost thinking of just going offline. I’m barely into the second combat here and every time I look at chat, the conversation is just bothering me,” began Matt. Shelby then added that, “maybe we can do a quick be right back, or a little break or something.”Earlier this week, a new website was created letting those who wish to boycott the game see which Twitch streamers are creating content with it. The idea behind this website being so that people can then unfollow the streamers who are playing Hogwarts Legacy.

With so much to explore and unlock across the wizarding world of Hogwarts Legacy, it makes sense to come equipped with an arsenal of handy tips and tricks to ensure you get off on the right foot with your fellow housemates.

So, whether it's solutions for managing your inventory, tips for causing havoc in The Highlands, or even unlocking cosmetic transmogs, our comprehensive tips and tricks below will have you prepped for everything Hogwarts Legacy will toss your way.

Many of the rewards you receive for completing Quests and Challenges aren’t actually gear but instead just appearances. The reason for this being is that Hogwarts Legacy has a transmog system right from the start, but it's kind of hidden within the Gear Menu. So, to enable transmogs, you must have a piece of gear for that slot equipped, like gloves; then, on the main gear screen, hover over the item slot, and you’ll now find an option to Change Appearance. Using the transmog system will allow you to maintain your preferred appearance without losing out on vital gear stats that will carry you through combat encounters.

Playing Hogwarts Legacy is a reminder that few fictional worlds are as bewitching as Harry Potter's. In 1998, my Mum handed me a copy of Philosopher's Stone -- Sorcerer's Stone in the US -- and that first chapter sucked me right in its magical universe. I was hooked for life.

Or so I thought. After the core book series wrapped up and there were no more movie adaptations coming, my emotional connection diminished. The overstuffed spinoffs, along with author J.K. Rowling's inflammatory comments about transgender people, sucked the remaining fun out of the franchise, and I figured it was time to move on.

All that baggage fell away as soon as I started Hogwarts Legacy, which hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Series S and PC on Friday (it's available in early access from Tuesday, and arrives on other consoles in the coming months). This open-world action RPG game, developed by Avalanche Software, is designed to let us live out our fantasies of enrolling at the iconic School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a new student.

Having played the PS5 version for 10 hours, it captures the wonder of the early books, with an intriguing original narrative, engagingly varied gameplay and intricately designed world to explore.
